Business Terms
| THE SCHOOL: | Maximum capacity of 60 students. | |||||||
| SCHOOL CALENDAR: | Open all the year round, except on public holidays and between 15/12/08 to 11/01/09. | |||||||
| Adult group courses start on Monday and are spread over 5 days | ||||||||
| LESSONS: | Each lesson has a duration of 45 minutes. Lessons missed due to public holidays,are made up on other days of the week. | |||||||
| PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: | February 10th, March 19th, March 21st, March 31st, May 1st, June 7th, June 29th, August 15th, Sept 8th, Sept 21st, Dec 8th, Dec 13th. | |||||||
| MORNING PROGRAMME: | 09.15 -10.45 hrs < break > 11.15 - 12.45 hrs | |||||||
| AFTERNOON PROGRAMME: | 13.15 - 14.45 hrs < break > 15.00 - 16.30 hrs | |||||||
| LONG TERM COURSES | Applies only for courses of 8 weeks and over, 10% discount on home stay & self catered apartments when accommodation and tuition are booked. | |||||||
| MINIMUM LEVEL: | Required to follow a group course is A2. (Elementary or Waystage). | |||||||
| The student's level is assessed upon arrival and if found to be below A2, the fees paid | ||||||||
| will be converted into individual lessons. | ||||||||
| GROUP COURSES: | Standard group max. 12 students, average 6 students in low season & 8 in high season. | |||||||
| Standard afternoon group lessons may be allocated to morning lessons at no extra charge. | ||||||||
| Mini Group max. 6 students, average 4 in low season & 5 in high season. | ||||||||
| Note: When there are from one to three students in a course, the improved teacher attention and increased quality time will enable us to offer a more personalised course focused on 60-65% of the ordinary number of lessons. One may note that students will be receiving more teacher contact time, leading to better quality tuition at no extra cost. | ||||||||
| SHUTTLE BUS: | This is a non stop bus that operates from the airport to Cirkewwa and vice versa. Depending on arrival times, students will be utilising this form of transport in Malta |

| ACCOMMODATION: |
Home stay - single rooms are only available from September to June. Superior home stay - provides a higher level of comfort. Extras: private bathroom 5.00 daily, air-conditioning 6 daily (where available). Apartment Prices for 2 or more persons, reduce quoted prices per person by 30%. Hotel prices for 2 or more persons, reduce quoted prices per person by 25%. Home stay & apartments - linen change, towels & cleaning service are provided weekly. |

| PAYMENTS: |
Bookings received directly from students are subject to 25% deposit upon confirmation.
Full payment is to reach us 21 days before student's arrival by swift transfer to BIC: VALLMTMT, IBAN: MT17VALL22013000000014811560013 at Bank of Valletta - Preluna Branch. We can accept both VISA and Matercard Credit Cards. Such payments are subject to a 3% administration fee to be added to the sum being paid. Payments are to be received free from overseas and local bank charges. Any short payment, will become due upon arrival. Kindly quote proforma/invoice number on your details of payment. |

| CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: |
A cancellation fee equivalent to one week tuition & accommodation will be applied for
cancellations effected seven days prior arrival. Any changes in accommodation effected during stay will incur a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures or cancellations during stay. |

| INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS: | Can only be booked as part of a complete package. | |||||||
| INSURANCE: | Acquiring a travel, health & cancellation policy is highly recommended. | |||||||
| LEISURE FACILITIES: | Include private garden, sun terrace, air-conditioned premises & pool or beach club (in summer months). A full leisure programme is also offered. | |||||||
| ILLEGAL ABUSE & ALCOHOL: | Are not permitted on school property. Smoking is acceptable outdoors. | |||||||
| LIABILITY | B.E.L.S. will not be held liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property. | |||||||

| PREMIUM RESIDENTIAL SUMMER GROUP COURSES FOR TEENAGERS (13-17 years) |
This programme includes 20 less. each week in standard group, residential accommodation
in a sharing room including breakfast, packed lunch and dinner, full activity programme.
Arrivals and departures will take place on Saturday, arrival on other days may be accepted
on demand, arrival will be charged on a per night basis and transfer will be billed separately.
Easter holidays 15/03-29/03 & summer holidays 28/06-12/07, 12/07-26/07, 26/07-09/08.
A refundable damage deposit of 50 will be collected in cash from each student upon arrival.
Students must pay the full cost of any damages caused to any property. We do not provide a pocket money service for students attending courses for less than 4 weeks We reserve the right to expel students for unacceptable behaviour. Repatroation is at students own expence. No refunds will be entertained. |
